This international, non-profit organization is seeking an experienced attorney (7-10 years) with significant experience across a range of legal issues to serve as its senior legal advisor. The right candidate will have worked with a variety of types of corporate matters, particularly contracts, Donor-Advised Fund regulations, risk management, compliance and tax-exempt laws, as well as done work with a variety of grant-making issues. Superb oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are required, as developing close working relations with outside counsel is a key requirement of the position. Must have a good sense of how effective businesses work, with an emphasis on not-for-profit entities. Some international law experience would be a plus. Reports directly to the CEO and other senior managers. A good example of how the company functions is its requirement that candidates have a good sense of humor!
